1 kHz medium frequency inverter
The 1kHz medium frequency technology (MFDC) is the standard technology for demanding resistance welding applications. It offers the following advantages over AC technology:
- Even energy input
- Fast control cycle
- Suitability for very short welding times
- Lighter and smaller welding transformers
- 3-phase balanced network load
- Low ripple in the welding current
- Low inductive losses
A medium frequency welding system consists of a medium frequency transformer with an integrated rectifier module, a medium frequency inverter and a medium frequency welding controller.
- Chassis design for control cabinet installation
- IGBT technology with integrated primary current control (1000 Hz)
- Interface for HIE welding controls of type Akzent 2000 / MF and Akzent 3000 / MF
- Analog input for power setting e.g. through a PLC
- In the Maxi version with integrated control unit (16 programs, 8 times, 2 analog outputs, stepper, counter), operation via Terminal T-5000, control connections via clipboard CAN-630
- Imax from 400A - 3000A
